5 Top HR Tech Trends for 2025

Updated: 5 days ago

Spotlight on Top HR TECH trends 2025.

This year will be marked by 5 major HR tech trends: Not just predictable, but rapid, game-changing, and here.

In the tumult of the modern economy, you have to stay on the lookout and choose your capabilities carefully to be resilient. The right combinations of technologies form the fabric of our competitiveness.

These trends are true levers of transformation and are part of your strategic HR plans and your investments to build your technological capabilities.

1️ - AI assistants are multiplying (and not only in HR!). On the way to an "AI-First Organisation".

All organizations are looking to become more efficient.

Here is enough to save time from some of the hundreds of use cases (115 to be exact). The co-pilots or assistants or companions amaze us and compete in prowess in hundreds of HR fields. This initiates a vast project of automation and interfaces of business processes. Less time on admin, more time on strategy and advising.

But be prepared to upskill your teams to effectively choose and adopt AI-enabled solutions. Shadow AI has become very widespread. This consists of the private use of ChatGPT in the office when organizations have restrictions on the use of AI. Shadow IT questions the internal HRIS offer. Do we have the right tools to equip our employees and update their work?

Come talk about it at the HR Tech Innovation Summit with: Dayforce, Workday HCM, UKG, ADP, Sigma RH, MPO, AtmanCo, SAP SuccessFactors.

2️ - Knowledge base: save everyone a lot of time!

This trend is my favorite. We waste so much time looking for and redoing what is already written.

To have a centralized, intelligent knowledge base that captures and redistributes knowledge, policies, rules, and responses, by the thousands. It's not just a document repository, it's a dynamic, searchable platform that uses AI to provide personalized answers to employee questions. Think of it as your organization's ChatGPT for a team. TIME SAVINGS FOR ALL!

A smoother employee experience, faster onboarding, compliant insights, and a more empowered workforce.

Come to HR Tech Innovation Summit and see: Neocase, Dayforce, Dazzm, SAP SuccessFactors, UKG.

3️ - Wellness and psychosocial risk factors measurement

Employee well-being is an ethical and global performance priority.

In 2025, with the coming into force of Bill 27, we will see an explosion of tools measuring psychosocial risks (stress, burnout, etc.) in real time, thanks to data from surveys, wearables and even communication habits.

These insights will allow HR to intervene early and create targeted wellness programs.

Meet and learn about: Inpowr, Cegid HR, Sparkbay, Amelio, Explorance, Protexio, E2Ergo, Dayforce, UKG, Workday Peakon.

4️ - Moving towards "competency-based management": now it's possible with AI.

We are switching to Skills: Skills-based Hiring, Skills-based Onboarding, Skills-based Training, Skills-based Goals, Skills-Based Leadership, Skills-Based Organizations.

The transition from role-based to competency-based structures is accelerating. Companies are using AI to map the skills of their workforce, identify gaps, and deploy talent more effectively. This trend is aimed at agility—putting the right people on the right projects, no matter what job title they have.

A workforce that is better understood and continuously developed, "Future-Proof". But this requires HR expertise, cultural change, and HR TECH investments in tools for assessment, skills development, and dynamic management of skills repertoires.

"Skills" innovations await you at HR Tech Innovation Summit with: AtmanCo, MPO, Interpreto, Apprentx, SAP SuccessFactors with its Talent Intelligence Hub, Dayforce, Vvvitae (partenaire Zoho People), Cegid HR, Illuxi, Training Orchestra, uXpertise, Workday with Skills Cloud.

5- Workforce forecasting and planning (no, it's not the same!)

  • Strategic workforce and skills foresight uses predictive analytics to anticipate future talent needs based on business goals.

  • Workforce planning is the strategic process that aligns these forecasts with action plans.

Together, they form a powerful duo. With advances in analytics, HR can now leverage transactional, business, and behavioural data to make more informed decisions. Previously unexploited, data is slowly being exploited to describe, explain, simulate and predict.

Better decision-making, reduced talent shortages, and a competitive advantage in the marketplace.

Check it out at: ADP, Dayforce, Evolia, Agendrix, Airudi, WorkAxle, Manitou, Kara RH, UKG, Workday HCM, HR Path, Komplice.
